Tabuk City, Kalinga – Reverend Victor Mangulian Jr., the newly-ordained Deacon in Tabuk City who died in the Isabela crash, was brought to his final resting place in Callagdao on Monday, July 28.

Rev. Victor, 33, was one of the nine fatalities of the tragic road accident in Aurora, Isabela, on July 19, when a six-wheeler truck hit two vans bound for Tabuk City, Kalinga. The 33-year-old priest was buried at the AVT Clergy Cemetery following a funeral mass at the St. William’s Cathedral this morning.

During the funeral mass, one of the reverend’s colleagues shared that the 33-year-old Deacon faced challenges and difficulties in pursuing his vocation, but he did not give up on his calling until he was officially ordained as a Deacon on June 18.

While his ministry was cut short by the tragic road mishap, Rev. Victor was earlier described by St. William’s Cathedral as a priest who touched many lives with his humility, dedication, and love for God and His people.

Before he was brought to his resting place in Callagdao, the remains of Rev. Victor arrived at St. William’s Cathedral on Sunday afternoon, where it was solemnly processioned from the Fr. Miguel Veys Hall to the Cathedral. The people came and paid their final tribute and prayers to the priest.
