Sari-sari store owner wins TAMPCO Grand Raffle Draw with P100k cash prize

Tabuk City, Kalinga – From more than 210,000 tickets, a lucky sari-sari store owner of Dagupan Centro, Tabuk City was picked as the winner during the Tabuk Multipurpose Cooperative (TAMPCO) Golden Anniversary Grand Raffle Draw.

Milagros Doctor, 58 years old, won the P100,000 cash prize. She has been a member of TAMPCO for 16 years now.

Milagros shared that she felt overwhelmed when she received a call from TAMPCO relaying the news that she won the prize.

According to the store owner, she dropped a total of 51 entries from her receipts and never did she expect that one of her entries will be picked during the grand draw.

“Maragsakan nak ta haan ko akalaen nga siyak ti mangabak,” she said in an interview.

Milagros thanked TAMPCO for the prize adding, “sapay kuma ta agtultuloy daytoy programa yu ta adu matultulungan yu. Thank you and God bless.”

An amount of the prize, she disclosed, will be used for the land she is currently paying per installment and she will use some as capital for her store.

Meanwhile, the second prize went to Arvin Bongngat from Dagupan Centro, Tabuk City who will receive P75,000 while Marcelo Fortez from San Juan, Tabuk City will get P50,000 for winning the third prize.

The Grand Raffle Draw is one of the highlights of TAMPCO’s Golden Anniversary as the billionaire cooperative’s way of giving back to those patronizing its products and services.

The draw was held outside St. Thomas Parish, Dagupan West, Tabuk City on October 21, 2021, and was likewise aired through the TAMPCO Main Branch’s Facebook page.
