Tabuk City, Kalinga – The provincial government of Kalinga procured special syringes needed for the distribution of vaccines to the community as the municipalities and the city ramp up their jab roll out.

The Provincial Information, in a press release, disclosed that the lack of required syringes was one of the challenges in the efficient delivery of vaccines, especially Pfizer.

With this, the Local Finance Committee, with the support of Governor Ferdinand Tubban, recommended the purchase of the syringes.

Through the Quick Respond Fund (QRF), the provincial government purchased “thousands of 0.5-ml tuberculin syringes with G23 one-inch hypodermic needles.”
