Tinglayan LGU brings driving seminar closer to locals

Updated: Feb 24, 2022

Tinglayan, Kalinga – Aspiring drivers in Tinglayan no longer need to travel to Tabuk City to avail driving seminars needed for practical exams in getting a license as the local government unit made a way to bring the service to the community.

The Tinglayan Municipal Information Office, in a press release, said the seminar on road safety and travel policies starts at 8 AM to 5 PM tomorrow, February 24 up to February 25 at the Municipal Tribal Peace Hall.

The seminar will be spearheaded by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Office (MDRRMO) and the LTO-accredited Road Star Driving School.

According to the office, the seminar intends to help aspiring drivers and drivers who are yet to receive their drivers’ license.

Interested individuals only need to pay P1,500 training fee and will get a certificate of training completion after the seminar.

Also, MDRRMO will provide knowledge refresher to all Tinglayan Emergency Response Team (TERT) to ensure quality service of all personnel.

Those who wish to participate may reach MDRRMO through 0967 675 5611. Walk-ins participants shall likewise be accommodated.

“MDRMMO encourages everyone who wishes to avail their driving license to attend the seminar. Rather than traveling far to the city, avail of the seminar here in Tinglayan for a far more accessible and timesaving training,” said the LGU.
