Vice Gov. Odiem credits Duterte Administration for bringing government services closer to people

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Kalinga Vice Governor Dave Odiem gave credit to the Duterte Administration for supporting the local government units in bringing government services to the people instead of people going to the government.

Odiem made the statement in his opening remark during the launching program of Duterte Legacy: Barangayanihan Caravan towards National Recovery held at Kalinga Astrodome on November 5, 2021.

The national event, he explained, aims to bring the services of the national government to the community in partnership with the local government units.

The activity likewise highlights the government’s programs, policies, accomplishments and efforts that brought better services to the people.

The Vice Governor cited the programs of Duterte Administration that paved way for the attainment of peace, security, stability, economic prosperity, infrastructure development and effective social services not only in our province but in the whole country as well.

Some programs include the Build, Build, Build program, the Anti-illegal Drug campaign, Anti-insurgency and Counter Terrorism campaign, the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program, the National ID program, Universal Health Care, Free Tuition for Higher Education, Pantawid Program, Alternative Learning System, the Bayanihan Act program, among others.

“I therefore enjoin and encourage all yKalingas to continue supporting this administration in its programs of bringing the government to the people, providing a comfortable life for all and recover from this pandemic,” Odiem concluded.
