Carabao of 71-yr.-old man in Cagayan butchered by unknown thieves

Tuguegarao City, Cagayan - The carabao of a 71-year-old man in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan was already butchered when it was found afternoon of Thursday, Nov. 02, 2023.


The owner is identified as alias “Arthur”, a resident of Barangay Tagga, Tuguegarao City.

Accordingly, the carabao was brought to graze by alias “Maximo” last Tuesday, Oct. 31, on a land owned by a man named William.


Later that day, Maximo was about to look for the carabao when he found out that it was missing.


After two days of search, the carabao was found butchered and only ten kilos of its meat were left by unknown thieves.


It was further narrated by local media that the crime place is not too far from the area where the carabao was put to graze.


Authorities, at present, are still investigating the crime to identify the possible suspects.
