Cordilleran cop is Grand Champion of Pulis Got Talent

Baguio City, Philippines – A 31-year-old Cordilleran police was declared as the Grand Champion of the “Pulis Got Talent” – Solo Category (National Edition) held on Saturday, June 04, 2022 at FilOil Flying V Arena, San Juan City.


Police Corporal Jumar Manzano, a member of the Peacemakers Band of the Police Regional Office – Cordillera, garnered the highest point with his homemade bamboo flute.

Police Community Affairs and Development Group explained Manzano chose to perform his own rendition of "Colors of the Wind", "The Last of the Mohicans" and "El Condor Pasa" as these describe the relationship between human and nature.


The songs likewise connects to one of the core values of the PNP – “Makakalikasan.”

The Ibaloi cop likewise wishes to preserve the culture of Cordillera through his performance and the musical instrument he played thus, encouraging others to be proud of their own and be not afraid to show their talent to the public.
