Tabuk City, Kalinga - The Kalinga Electric Cooperative (KAELCO) acknowledged some erroneous meter readings, which resulted in higher billings than what should be paid.

According to Joven, the meter readers were advised not to hand over electric bills with ‘abnormal amounts’ to the consumers.

The erroneous power bill, Egcatan said, will be subjected to corrections.

Meanwhile, the President of the Board of Directors, Isaac Baliang assured the cooperative does not collect bills with errors, adding that they are changing meters, especially to those consumers complaining about high rates.
