Lubuagan LGU allots P1.5M for CoViD-19 vaccine

Lubuagan, Kalinga― The Municipal Government of Lubuagan allotted PhP1.5 million fund to be utilized on the purchase of CoViD-19 vaccine for their constituents to cover for 30 percent of the whole population.


The 70 percent shall be covered by a fund from the national government.


Mayor Charisma Anne Dickpus informed through a virtual interview that the municipal government has already allocated the PhP1.5 million budget for the CoViD-19 vaccine from their 2021 calamity funds.


“Addan ti naka-allot nga budget mi for that counterpart mi dita nga vaccination ta ti target tayo kuma amin nga mangkayat, ta adda latta met diyay haan nga mangkayat, inggana tatta ket adu dagiyay agbutbuteng dita vaccine,” she said.

Vaccination Program Master listing


Municipal Health Officer Dr. Caroline Agyao mentioned that the master listing of front liners is on-going as they are the first to get vaccinated.


Agyao said the master list of the health workers includes those from Kalinga District Hospital (KDH), Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), and Barangay Health Emergency Response Teams (BHERTs).


Additionally, workers under Municipal Social Welfare and Development (MSWD), Department of Education (DepEd), Municipal Local Government Operations Office (MLGOO), and indigent population are included.

Agyao encourages Ylubuagens to get vaccinated


Agyao encouraged Ylubuagens to get vaccinated regardless of the issues brought to the social media which create fear. She added that people should understand that the most important aim of the CoViD-19 vaccine is to bring back the normal life of the people.


“Iti bakuna ket ti panunuten tayo tapno maging normal ti panagbiyag sana maawatan da kuma am amin nga mabakunaan kayo tapno lappedan daytoy nga panagngaton iti CoViD-19 diyay iti mensahe na nu apay nga iti gobyerno tayo ket ag-vaccine tayo, para met lang ti bagbagi tayo,” she said.

Meanwhile, Mayor Dickpus underscored the significance of the roll-out of vaccination program specifically for the welfare of the constituents.


“Haan met nga agaramid ti gobyerno ti maipahamak ti tattao isu met nga inaramid da daytoy solusyon kadagita nga butbuteng tayo haan kuma met nga diay agbuteng tayo ti solusyon. Agpabakuna tayo, so, nu mabalin karkaru dagiti padak nga officials, ipakita da nga mangi un- una tapno met haan nga agbuteng dagiti kailyan,” she said.
