Tabuk City, Kalinga – The 40 candidates vying for the ‘Man of the World’ crown are scheduled to visit the tourism sites in Kalinga Province on June 13 to 14, 2022.

The international male pageant is the male counterpart of the Miss Universe, where men from different parts of the globe compete.

Provincial Tourism Officer, Lorraine Ngao-i said the plan is a result of their meeting with the event’s host held on Tuesday, June 07 in Bulanao, Tabuk City.

According to Ngao-i, the candidates from the different countries will first be toured to Buscalan, Tinglayan where the Sleeping Beauty Mountain and the oldest “mambabatok” (tattoo artist), Apo Whang-od are found.

The candidates will then proceed to Tabuk City for the Cultural Night.

The visit is anchored in the edition’s theme, "Recovery of Tourism and the Preservation of Heritage." The global search will conclude on June 18 at Baguio Convention Center.
