Tanudan Mayor Dagadag grateful for improvement of Banneng – Darulog – Bawac road

Tanudan, Kalinga – Municipal Mayor of Tanudan Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag, through his Executive Assistant Alex Ladwingon, extended gratitude to all the stakeholders for the realization of the Improvement of Banneng – Darulog – Bawac Farm-to-Market Road.

Ladwingon relayed the message of Dagadag during the groundbreaking ceremony held on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Sitio Darulog, Dupligan, Tanudan.

Dagadag made special mention of the Department of Agriculture - Philippine Rural Development Project, Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang, Governor Ferdinand Tubban, Vice-Governor Dave Odiem, and the proponent of the sub-project, Provincial Agriculturist, Engr. Domingo Bakilan.

The mayor likewise thanked the affected communities for their cooperation and willingness to embrace the development. The road project required sacrificing portions of their house and/or land.

Dagadag added the communities made it possible for the immediate realization of making the transport of products such as bananas, corn, and coffee to the market easier, avoiding delays and wastage.

The mayor explained that inasmuch as the local government unit of Tanudan desires to improve the road, the LGU’s Internal Revenue Allotment is only limited to P30 million, which, he added, is enough to equally fund smaller projects.

He urged the recipients to do their part in safeguarding the road project once completed.
