BALIK ESKWELA: Affordable school supplies available at Dagupan Public Market, Tabuk City till June 7

Tabuk City, Kalinga - A wide range of school supplies at cheaper prices are now available at the Dagupan Public Market in Dagupan Centro, Tabuk City. 

This is through the Diskwento Caravan: Balik Eskwela Edition of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) - Kalinga, which is an annual initiative of the agency in partnership with the various micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the province. 

Taking place until June 7, 2025, the caravan aims to make back-to-school essentials more affordable for iKalinga families, especially for those from low-income households, by providing discounted school supplies. 

Quality school supplies and other related merchandise are now displayed at the said venue. These include uniforms, notebooks, pens, pencils, lunch boxes, bags, sacks, and shoes, among others. 

These items are sold by MSMEs at budget-friendly prices. To allow buyers to save more, sellers are also offering bundled promos. 

The provincial DTI office, in an interview with Guru Press Cordillera, urged parents and students in Kalinga to take advantage of the caravan before it ends so that they will be prepared for the upcoming school year with less financial strain.
