Tinglayan, Kalinga – An iTinglayan police colonel has recently taken the helm to lead the men and women of the Abra Police Provincial Office in protecting the people and in sustaining the peace and order in the province.

PCol. Charles Domallig, who is a native of Tinglayan, Kalinga, formally accepted the appointment to command the Abra PPO in a Turn-over Ceremony staged at Camp Col. Juan Villamor in Calaba, Bangued, Abra on July 22.

Domallig, who replaced PCol. Froiland Lopez, is not new to overseeing an entire provincial police force, as he once served as the Police Provincial Director (PD) in Kalinga in 2022. Additionally, before his appointment as the new PD of the Abra PPO, Domallig was the Force Commander of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15.

“Your collaboration with the Abra Police Provincial Office is vital in empowering and supporting the leadership of the new Provincial Director. Together, let us sustain the gains we have achieved and work hand in hand in building a safer, more peaceful, and more resilient province,” he was quoted saying.
