Bong Go to grace 2024 Kalinga Provincial Meet, chooses Rang-ay Eco-Adventure & Resort for stay


Rizal, Kalinga - Rang-ay Eco-Adventure & Resort, the breathtaking venue is gearing up to host none other than Senator Christopher "Bong" Go, the chairperson of the Senate Committee on Sports.

 

As the keynote speaker for the 2024 Kalinga Provincial Meet, Senator Go's choice of lodging highlights the resort's allure and reputation for hosting distinguished events.

 

A Visionary Advocate for Sports and Nation-building

 

Senator Bong Go, recognized for his impassioned advocacy for sports programs as a foundational element of nation-building, will add a touch of prestige to the Provincial Meet. His arrival on January 25 is eagerly awaited, marking the beginning of a week-long celebration of athletic talent and determination.

 

A Grand Kickoff: Parade and Opening Program

 

The Provincial Sports Festival will commence with a lively parade, starting from Macutay Barangay Hall and culminating at the Macutay-Palao National High School (NHS). Here, the opening program will unfold, promising a captivating prelude to a week filled with athletic excellence, camaraderie, and spirited competition.

 

Diverse Sporting Events Across Rizal and Tabuk

 

As the formal proceedings signal the commencement of festivities, young athletes will display their skills in various sports across designated playing areas. The Macutay-Palao NHS ground will witness archery, athletics, baseball, sepak takraw, and softball competitions. Arnis enthusiasts will convene at the MDRRM building, while basketball, billiards, boxing, wushu, wrestling, chess, and gymnastics will captivate audiences in different venues across Rizal.

 

The sporting extravaganza will also feature racket games, including badminton at the San Pascual gym and table/lawn tennis at Macutay-Palao NHS. Volleyball enthusiasts will converge at the Macutay Barangay Hall, futsal enthusiasts at the Rizal Sports Complex, taekwondo practitioners at the Eco Tourism building, and dance sport enthusiasts at the Rizal Sports Complex.

 

The only event set in Tabuk City is swimming.


The apex of the games will coincide with the closing and awarding ceremony on January 28 at the Macutay-Palao NHS. Exceptional athletes, recognized not just for their skill but also for their sportsmanship and determination, will be celebrated for their contributions to the success of the 2024 Kalinga Provincial Meet.

 

Rang-ay Eco-Adventure & Resort, already a preferred venue for various events such as team-building activities, weddings, and gatherings, offers an array of thrilling experiences including rappelling, ziplining, a firing range, and a sky bike.
