Isabela Gov. Albano elected as LPP Senior Vice President for North Luzon, eyes resolution of key issues hounding Northern Luzon

Isabela, Philippines – Newly-elected Senior Vice President for North Luzon in the League of Province of the Philippines (LPP), Isabela Governor Rodito T. Albano, plans to push for initiatives to address issues on agriculture, infrastructure, and calamities hounding Northern Luzon.


The LPP, as mandated by the Local Government Code (Republic Act No. 7160), aims to address problems affecting provincial and metropolitan governance and to advocate for appropriate and legal solutions.

Albano will be serving as Senior Vice President for North Luzon for the next three years after he was elected during the First General Assembly of LPP at the Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria in Quezon City on July 25.


The Isabela governor is no stranger to serving as LPP officer as he was previously voted as the LPP Chairperson for Agriculture and Food.


The other officials who were voted as LPP officers include Governor of South Cotabato Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. - the new National President; Governor of Quirino Dakila Carlo E. Cua, National Chairman; Pampanga Governor Lilia G. Pineda, Executive Vice President; Governor of Camarines Sur Lray Villafuerte Jr., Senior Vice President for South Luzon; Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor Jr., Senior Vice President for Visayas; Dinagat Islands Governor Nilo Demerey Jr., Senior Vice President for Mindanao; and Misamis Occidental Governor Henry Oaminal who was elected as the Secretary General.


The Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary Juanito Victor C. Remulla Jr. formally inducted Albano and the other officers of the LPP on the same day of the election.
