Tabuk City, Kalinga – A live-in couple in Tabuk City will be answering drug charges after police found contraband at their place on Wednesday afternoon.

On March 13, around 2:40 p.m., a team of operatives in the city proceeded to Teacher’s Village in Magsaysay to implement a search warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Brach 25.

Armed with said document, the police searched the place of the suspects who were identified as 26-year-old woman and 40-year-old man. Both of their names were withheld by the police.

The 26-year-old was tagged by the police as a Street Level Individual drug personality while the 40-year-old was described to be a newly identified one.

According to the report from PNP Tabuk, the operatives found the contraband which included 8 pieces of suspected shabu estimated to be worth P61,200; suspected marijuana fruiting tops worth P9,600; and drug paraphernalia.

The pieces of evidence were marked and inventoried before they were taken along with the suspects to the Tabuk City Police Station.
