Isabela, Philippines – A 21-year-old man wanted by law would have remained free had he not decided to take his 18-year-old ex-girlfriend away from their home in Isabela.

Local media on Monday, July 14, reported that the Santiago City police arrested the 21-year-old suspect, hidden under the name ‘Nunoy’, who was charged with Attempted Homicide.

His arrest came after a mother appeared at the police station, asking for help from the police officers to prevent the man from taking away her 18-year-old daughter.

The report prompted police authorities to take action. They had not known, however, that the person mentioned by the mother was someone with a standing warrant of arrest for Attempted Homicide in Bulacan.

Due to what they discovered, the Santiago police arrested the suspect and brought him into their custody for proper disposition before his transfer to the court in Malolos, Bulacan, which issued the arrest warrant.

The names of the people involved were neither mentioned in the report nor revealed by the authorities.
