Man found dead along Abra river bank; identity not yet known

Abra, Philippines – An unidentified man was found dead along the bank of Abra River in Sitio Bal-iyang, Barangay Gayaman, Luba, Abra on Monday, October 6.

Luba Municipal Police Station (MPS) said the deceased, described to be around 5’3” in height, was wearing white long-sleeve polo and “maong” (denim) pants when he was found.

The man was medium built and is believed to be around 40 to 45 years of age.

When discovered, the body was already in a state of advanced decomposition. His identity remains unknown as of this writing.

Accordingly, no missing person has been reported in nearby towns.

As the personnel of Luba MPS continue their effort for the identification of the deceased and determine the cause of his death, they are appealing to the public for assistance.
