15 MSMEs in Tabuk City to undergo free Digital Marketing Training

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Fifteen Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the City of Tabuk are set to undergo Digital Marketing with Product Photography and Graphic Designing Training from May 24 to 25, 2022 at Las Vegas Hotel and Restaurant.


The Business Counselor of the City’s Negosyo Center, Kevin E. Racraquin explained in an interview that the training intends to help local entrepreneurs improve their marketing skills in promoting their products online.

The MSMEs, he said, will be trained in creating their social media page and on product photography to make their products saleable and competitive online.


“Ma-train da metlang with regard to product photography and graphic designing so itugut da diay sample product da during the training and then during the product photography session ket we will train them on how to capture good photos of their product tapnu attractive ken marketable ti dating na nu i-upload da idiay FB,” pointed Racraquin.


Also, the entrepreneurs will be introduced to Canva, a free online graphic design tool, that they can use for their designs and social media advertisements to make their products appealing.

Racraquin disclosed that the 15 limited slots for the training were already occupied. Of the 15 local MSMEs who availed, 80% are food establishments while 20% are wearables and homestyle.


According to the business counselor, the MSMEs were required to be fully registered, meaning they must not only be DTI – registered, but must have likewise obtained Mayor’s permit or Barangay Micro Business Enterprises (BMBE) certificate.


Upon attending the training, the entrepreneurs are expected to apply the technical knowledge they are to acquire for their business to flourish.

“We will monitor din. After the training, mino-monitor naming lahat yung effectiveness nung training, kung talagang bang inapply, talaga bang ginagamit and then nire-report din kasi namin…kapag nag-boom or nag-grow yung negosyo through the training and then we will also be featuring them kapag nakita naming na nag-grow or nakita naming na nag-succeed yung business nila,” underscored Racraquin.
