The 44-year-old who has been wanted by the law for murder in Sorsogon for 22 years was tracked down and arrested by the operatives through his arrest warrant dated way back to January 19, 2003 with no bail recommended for his temporary freedom.

“The accused, who has been evading arrest since 2003, was tracked down after extensive intelligence monitoring and close coordination among regional police units,” the BCPO wrote.

After he was arrested, the 44-year-old accused was taken to the City intelligence Unit for documentation before his transport to the court in Sorsogon which issued his warrant of arrest.

Commending the operatives for the successful operation, City Police Director, PCol. Ruel Tagel noted that the arrest of the suspect is a ‘proof that justice may be delayed, but it will never be denied’ and that the Baguio City police remain committed to their mission of serving justice and making law violators accountable for their crimes.
