CSU graduate secures top 2 spot in electrical 2024 engineering board exam

Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – Cagayan State University takes pride after one of its graduates secured the second-highest score in the recently conducted electrical engineering board examination.

 

On Thursday, August 29, the Professional Regulation Commission released the results of the August 2024 Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination which revealed that an alumnus of CSU earned the second top spot in the said licensure exam.

 

The list of the top 10 included Tomas C. Casauay Jr. in second place with a 92.60% board rating. He came next to Christopher Regino Maranga of the Cebu Institute of Technology University who obtained a 93.20% rating, the highest among the 3,058 examinees.

 

With this feat, the CSU Electrical Engineering Department lauded Casauay, saying that his success is a testament to his ‘dedication, hard work, and exceptional intellect.’

 

“This achievement is not just a personal victory, but also a source of immense pride for your alma mater, your mentors, and your peers. Your success reflects the high standards of excellence upheld by the Cagayan State University and the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers,” the department wrote on its Facebook page.

 

They added that the whole CSU and the Electrical Engineering Department celebrate Casauay’s feat and that they could not wait for the significant contributions he will be making in the electrical engineering field.
