Tuguegarao City Airport commercial flight resumes operation

Tuguegarao City, Cagayan─Provincial Government of Cagayan thru Governor Manuel Mamba said Tuguegarao City Airport may now resume its operation on commercial travel or commercial flight.


It can be recalled that the commercial flight or commercial travel at the city airport was stopped as a restriction on the growing number of CoViD-19 positive cases affecting more than 29 out of 49 barangays of the city.


According to Cagayan Provincial Information Office, the resumption of the operation city airport’s commercial flight or travel is based on the signed Executive Order No. 02, Series of 2021 by Cagayan Governor Manuel Mamba on Friday, February 11, 2021.


Said executive order states that strict enforcement of minimum health protocols shall be required by the Inter-Agency Task Force for Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID), Regional Inter-Agency Task Force (RITF), Provincial Health Office (PHO) and City Health Office (CHO).


As of February 11, the city has 62 CoViD-19 active cases.


Community quarantine in Tuguegarao City is currently down to the Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) from the General Community Quarantine (GCQ).
