32-yr.-old woman and husband rape own child in Cauayan, Isabela

Cauayan City, Isabela – While it is unusual for a mother to become a sex predator, an isolated case was reported to have happened in Cauayan City, Isabela.

A 32-year-old mom was arrested by police in said city on Thursday, February 1, for committing a heinous crime against her own child, who is a minor.

Her accomplice in the crime, according to sources, was her husband. Police revealed that both of the parents committed nine counts of rape.

Charges of rape were filed against them. Unfortunately, before the warrant of arrest could be served, the husband had already fled the area.

Meanwhile, there is no recommended bail for the arrested suspect identified by the police as alias ‘Ruby,’ a resident of Cauayan City, Isabela. She is tagged as the Number 1 Most Wanted Person in the Cagayan Valley Region.

At present, she is at the Cauayan City Police Station for proper documentation and disposition.

In a statement, Police Brigadier General Christopher Birung, Regional Director of Cagayan Valley, lauded the Cauayan City police for the successful arrest of the suspect.

“Sa ilalim ng aking pamunuan, patuloy na magsisilbing daan ang buong pwersa ng Valley Cops sa pagkamit ng hustisya para sa mga biktima ng kriminilidad at sugpuin ang mga taong nasa likod nito. Hindi ako makapapayag na mamamayagpag ang karahasan at tuluyang sirain ang ating tinatamasang kapayapaan dito sa Lambak ng Cagayan,” he conveyed.
