Tabuk City, Kalinga - In a celebration of pride and unity, the provincial government of Kalinga held a testimonial dinner to honor its sons and daughters who graduated from the elite Philippine Military Academy (PMA) last month.

The iKalinga PMA graduates are Hannah Ranelleb D. Agtina of Tabuk City, Carlos Dumawa Pasiwat III of Rizal, Rhem Thomas Nicolo S. Uggas of Pinukpuk, and Hennalyn Grete C. Sano, Mark Kelvin W. Soriano, and Almighty Gee Sawad of Tinglayan.

They were among 266 cadets of the "Siklab Laya" Class of 2025 who graduated from the academy on May 17, 2025.

On June 9, the graduates paid a courtesy visit to Governor James S. Edduba, after which a testimonial dinner was held on Sunday night, June 15.

The testimonial dinner gathered families, officials, and community leaders in a moving tribute to the young military officers whose journey represents the spirit and strength of Kalinga.

“Nagbunga diay rigat mi diay uneg,” one of the graduates said during the special event, according to the province’s Information Office.

That testimony of the graduate is a reminder of the hardship, discipline, and sacrifice that marked their years of rigorous military training.

Organized by the Office of Governor James Edduba, the ceremony served not only as recognition of the success of these iKalingas but also as an affirmation of the province’s commitment to nurturing service-driven leaders.

These six proud graduates are now bound to serve in various branches of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (Army, Navy, and Air Force), stepping into different paths yet united by a shared commitment to protect the country they call home.
