Tabuk City, Kalinga – Newly installed Cordillera Police Chief, PBGen. Ronald Lee, is encouraging the uniformed personnel in the province to intensify their campaign against marijuana.

According to Lee, it had been observed that marijuana in the National Capital Region, Region III, and other areas came from Kalinga.

“So lahat ng mga nakukuha na mga marijuana doon sa Metro Manila ay nanggagaling dito, alam din ng PDEA ‘yon. So, gusto ko na i-intesify ‘yung inyong operation against marijuana,” he said.

During his first command visit at the Kalinga Police Provincial Office on April 30, Lee commended the personnel for their accomplishments on their campaign against illegal drugs and wanted individuals.

“Congratulations pala sa Kalinga PPO for the magagandang accomplishment ninyo lalong lalo na sa mga anti illegal drugs campaign ninyo also doon sa mga wanted persons,” he said.

“My command visit for you today sa Kalinga PPO is to know your situation and para kamustahin din kayo and makita ko kayo kung ano ang inyong mga kalagayan dito. Nakikita ko maganda ang inyong lugar, disiplinado ang mga pulis natin,” he expressed.

“At least talagang ‘yung region natin ay home of the most disciplined cops. Ipagpatuloy natin na ganon, i-maintain natin na tayo ‘yung pinaka-disiplinadong pulis sa lahat ng PNP,” he added.

Meantime, during his visit, Kalinga Police Provincial Director PCol. Davy Vicente Limmong presented to the regional director the confiscated and surrendered loose firearms in the province during the year.

PBGen. Ronald Lee assumed as the Police Regional Office Cordillera Director last April 5, 2021. He was the the head of PNP Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG).
