Sanchez Mira, Cagayan — A school head in Cagayan has denied allegations that he attempted to pocket a donation worth more than P500,000 from former student and social media personality Bretman Rock.

Bretman Rock, known internationally as a beauty influencer and one of the most prominent LGBTQ+ figures on social media, discussed the matter in a recent episode of her podcast, Da Baddest Radio, with co-host Miss Kaaaye.

The social media personality said she donated “half a million pesos” to Sanchez Mira Elementary School, but later questioned how the money was handled after concerns were raised by members of the school community.

According to Rock, the donation was sent directly to the school principal, Adelino Mahumot Pacris, which allegedly caused confusion among teachers and staff who were unaware of the funds. She said she learned about the issue after receiving private messages from individuals connected to the school, prompting her to doubt how the donation was being managed.

"Apparently, because I sent it directly to the principal, the principal was being hush-hush and petty about it. And a lot of the associates, some of the teachers, and the treasurers were like, 'Where's the money? Why aren't you telling us about it?' They thought he was trying to pocket the money… Somebody DM-ed me about it, saying, 'Hey, we don't really trust the principal. He hasn't brought it up to any of the faculty. And even his 'Thank you' message to me was so, so weird,'" Rock said.

The matter reached Rock’s family when her mother, Mercedita, reportedly intervened and demanded accountability. Rock said her mother warned the school officials against misusing the donation and insisted that all transactions be documented in writing.

She later claimed that the money was transferred to the school treasurer after proper receipts and documentation were required.

The school head’s response

In a Facebook post on February 4, 2026, Principal Adelino Mahumot Pacris, who Rock allegedly referenced, said he had no intention of pocketing the donation, which he said totaled P555,000.

Pacris recalled that the donation was initially coordinated by Rock’s team, and he exercised caution after receiving the related documents. He said he even consulted a lawyer before signing a “Release and Agreement” to ensure he fully understood the provisions.
