yTanudan now enjoy its newly built all-weather roads

Tanudan, Kalinga - Residents of the Barangays Lay-asan, Magtoma and Mabaca could now enjoy and take advantage of the four newly constructed all-weather roads providing faster delivery of agricultural products and easier travel among commuters.

Said PhP2 million worth access roads are located at Ammaboy, Lay-asan, Magtoma, Lay-asan, Pagugo, Dupligan and Se-et, Mabaca, all in the Municipality of Tanudan.

John Ryan Awingan, Executive Assistant of Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag, disclosed that the improvement of the four roads in said barangays is a long-time plea of the residents.

“Nabayag nga irengrengreng dagita bumarangay dagita nga access roads. Fortunately, under the administration of Mayor Dagadag, nangibiruk suna ti budget para iti concreting,” he said.


Through the Municipal Local Government Unit Fund, the Mayor was able to allocate budget from his 20% share of the Internal Revenue Allotment (IRA).

The four access roads costs at least PhP500,000 each at 75-100m length each in Sitios Magtoma, Ammaboy, Pagugo, and Se-et.


Recently, Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag, Administrator Atty. Antonio Basungit Jr., Treasurer Tanding Tucyapao, Councilor Santos Dalayap, Charlie Almeda representing the LGU Accounting Department, Silverio Bumusao of the Engineering Department, Jefferson Daliyong of the Legislative Department and Walter Jr. Walter Jr Bumosao, the contractor, inspected said newly constructed access roads.

Mayor Dagadag underscored the significance of the roads to the travelers and farmers in the areas for better connection and improved accessibility.

“Adu tulong na dayta ta mapan ti agricultural lands dagiyay farmers ti Ammaboy ken Pagugo. While idiay Magtoma ken Se-et ket access road da tapno haan marigatan nga sumrek dagiyay lugan da, haan ma-hamper dagiyay produkto da ken easy access idiay umuneg ti barangay da,” he expressed.
