3 women stealing grocery items in Tabuk City caught on camera

Updated: Jul 24, 2022

Tabuk City, Kalinga – A convenience store in the city is warning the public against three women caught by their CCTV stealing items from their establishment on July 13 and 14, 2022.

H. Viloria Convenience Store in Bulanao posted a video of the suspects on their Facebook on July 20, cautioning the public against the three women.

The post said the thieves rode and ran away in a vehicle described to be a white Innova with plate number NAA 7494.

Based on the narrative of the owner to the police, their CCTV camera first caught the suspects entering their establishment on July 13, 2022 around 5:00 PM, taking items from their store.

The following day, at 1:00 in the afternoon, the same women arrived at their establishment to do the same thing.

The business establishment lost around P18,000 worth of grocery items to the three thieves.

Suspects’ modus

The three women were able to execute the crime swiftly, with one of them acting as a lookout, buying mineral water, and paying it at the cashier.

While the staff was occupied with one of them, the other two took assorted items, hiding them inside their clothing and bag.

Once done, the three left the establishment with a white Innova waiting for them.

Police say it is possible that the thieves could be using fake or replicating plate numbers. This is because when the police verified the plate number attached to the white Innova at LTO- Kalinga, they found out that it was registered to a private truck.
