Riding in tandem shot security guard in Tabuk City

Tabuk City, Kalinga - A security guard was shot by two unidentified male riders on Sunday, February 25, in Bulanao.

The victim was identified by the Tabuk City police as John Felix Boguen, 32 and security guard of a fast food chain in the city.

PNP Tabuk Spokesperson, PMSg. Prodencio Atas told GURU Press Cordillera that the yet to be identified suspects who were riding a red and white XRM 125 approached the victim at the fast food chain around 3:05 a.m.

The two riders allegedly asked the security guard if they were open, and when he told them the establishment was already closed, the back rider described to be wearing a black hoody jacket fired at him.

The victim was hit on his left thigh and left buttocks part, while the suspects escaped the crime scene after shooting him.

Boguen was brought to the hospital by the responding authorities. The riders, meanwhile, are now being pursued by the Tabuk City police.
