TESDA Provincial Director Braulio Dela Peña said that the tool kits would help the graduates start their entrepreneurial projects so they could now generate income and become self-employed.

“Ang tool kits na yan ay parang starter talaga, gagamitin nilang pangkabuhayan or for self-employment kasi kapag alam na nilang gamitin yan, gagawa sila ng kanilang produkto at magiging competitive naman sa market, eventually lalaki , lalago yung business na sisimulan,” Dela Peña said.

The tool kits provided depended on the course of each graduate that include the 124 who underwent Bread and Pastry production, 25 for Poultry/Chicken Production, 45 for fertilizer production, 25 for production of various concoctions, 25 for organic hog raising, 25 for raising of organic small ruminant, 50 for Agricultural Crop Production, and 34 for Dressmaking.

He cited that among the implements given include oven, mixing bowl, muffin pan, cake pan, measuring cup, brush, pastry blender, and whisk for those who have undergone bread and pastry baking.

“Hindi na kailangan ng kumpanya para magkapag-trabaho, sa pamamagitan ng toolkits na mga yan ay magkakaroon sila ng trabaho,” he said.

Aside from the toolkits given, the graduates during their training days have also received P160.00 allowance each per day, free training and competency assessment.

As of June 3, 2021, the 165 graduates from the municipalities of Lagayan, Daguioman and Danglas have already received their implements.

Graduates from other municipalities shall receive theirs on their scheduled date. For San Juan, distribution will transpire on June 8, June 9 for Tubo and June 4 for Pidigan Municipality.
