'Man found dead in Baguio athletic bowl died of heart attack' - Police


Baguio City, Philippines – Baguio City police have ended speculations surrounding the death of a man found at the Baguio Athletic Bowl on Friday, February 9.

 

In a press release, BCPO stated that the cadaver was identified on Monday, February 12, and the cause of death, according to autopsy, was a heart attack.

 

They added that there are no indications of foul play.


While his name was not disclosed, it was revealed that the man was a 54-year-old hairdresser who used to work at Maharlika Livelihood Complex.

 

“This station was able to contact his family members and informed them about the incident,” wrote BCPO - Police Station 5.

 

They also extended their condolences to the family and loved ones of the victim.

 

With the resolution of the case, authorities also extend their gratitude to the social media community for sharing information about the incident, underscoring that this led to his immediate identification.
