“Serve the people with a heart...”- PCVF Chair to provincial gov’t employees

Updated: Dec 7, 2021

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Pastor Benjamin Paycoan, the Chairperson of Kalinga Provincial Council for Values Formation (PCVF) during the flag raising and awarding ceremony held this December 6, encouraged the employees under the provincial government unit to serve the people wholeheartedly. This, he said, is because the people are the very reason why the employees are in their designated position.

“Dagiti tattao, the people that come to our offices ti rason nu apay nga adda tayo. They are our treasure because without them, irrelevant ti akem tayo. Anya ngay kuma ti sirbi na dayta a role mo nu awan dagituy a sirbiam a tattao,” stated Pastor Paycoan.

Further, the PCVF Chairperson called for the employees and officials not to focus on the material needs of the community since this could be forgotten, but more on the way they treat the people since this lasts forever. So, “let us help them experience the beauty of having a respectful, contented, and honored life.”

As Christmas is fast approaching, Pastor Paycoan called for the provincial employees to ensure that the decorations, the beauties that are seen outside, will reflect through their actions, not only in words.

“It’s not just by words, but they need action from us kasla ti panagayat ti Diyos kadatayo, han na lang inbaga nga ay-ayaten na datayo. He sent his only son isu gapu na nga umay ti tattao kanyana because with His words comes with serious actions,” added the PCVF Chairperson.

He underscored that the good deeds of the employees, even when not recognized by the heads or officials are seen by the Creator that will make a way towards their progress.
